Dear friends and colleagues,
We are thrilled to invite you to our Week of Action during the Dakar Biennale, promoting culture, reproductive rights, and access to abortion. Our main all-day event will take place on June 8th.
As part of the Senegal Actions Feministes campaign “Xool KO ci sa Boop – What if it were you?”, we are highlighting the risks associated with clandestine abortion and fighting against related stigmas and discrimination.
Organized by the Senegalese collective Kimpa Vita, in collaboration with Women on Web, Women First Digital, Fòs Feminista, Mulheres ao Vento, Hesperian Health Guides, Le Centre Odas, MSI Senegal, Tant Que Je Serai Noire, For Freedoms, Redes da Maré, and Feminist.
The event aims to promote access to quality reproductive health information and services, empower people in sexual and reproductive health, and create an open and constructive dialogue on reproductive health issues.
