She is active in the global digital rights movement and feels passionate about connecting digital and abortion rights.

Veronica Fernandez Montes holds an MSc in Global Health from the Karolinska Institute. She has a strong background and extensive experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in supporting people with disabilities. Her professional and volunteer efforts have taken her across various countries in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. For over a decade, she has passionately advocated for sexual and reproductive health and rights. She is also dedicated to integrating feminism into management practices.

Daniela joined Women on Web in 2022. She has an extensive history of activism and has been a dedicated advocate for legal, free and safe abortion in Argentina for many years. Daniela is also an integral part of grassroots feminist accompaniment networks, that have contributed significantly to the advancement of reproductive rights in the region.

Suzanne Veldhuis

Suzanne Veldhuis is a feminist physician, researcher, and passionate abortion advocate. She holds a MSc and PhD from the Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR) in Mexico. She is a co-founder of the Mexican Network of Pro Choice Physicians and has over 10 years of experience in projects, research, and activism related to abortion rights in Mexico and globally. She is invested in advancing safe abortion access through innovative self-management models. Her expertise bridges grassroots activism, medical practice, and policy advocacy.

Currently, she is one of the Helpdesk Coordinator as well as the Asia Outreach Coordinator. For more than 15 years, she has been engaging with NGOs. She is active as a social science researcher and involved in PurpleCode Collective who focus on feminist principles on the internet.

Hazal Atay is Women on Web’s Research Coordinator and consultant to the WHO, where she works on their GAPD – The Global Abortion Policies Database. Ms. Atay holds a Master’s of Political Science, and has taught at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). Her research focuses on the fields of Gender Studies and addresses the social impacts of abortions. You can find her articles on the platform “The Conversation”, or dive into her research in studies like “Why Women Choose At-Home Abortion via Teleconsultation in France”.

Seguono una rigorosa formazione per garantire un servizio e un supporto di alta qualità. Disponibile 24/7, 365 giorni all’anno in 16 lingue, il nostro servizio di assistenza è il collegamento vitale tra le nostre utenti, il team medico e l’accesso alle informazioni e alle pillole per l’aborto farmacologico.
Equipe medica
La nostra equipe medica è composta da 5 mediche con ampie conoscenze ed esperienze nella cura dell’aborto in telemedicna. Esaminano le consulenze online, rispondono alle domande mediche e svolgono la formazione per il nostro team del servizio di assistenza. La nostra equipe medica riconosce l’autogestione come un percorso legittimo per l’aborto e supporta le nostre utenti nei loro diversi percorsi di cura in autogestione.
Consiglio di Amministrazione
Il nostro Consiglio di Amministrazione è composto da 4 Direttrici con background combinati IVG farmacologica, ricerca, gestione di organizzazioni no-profit e diritto. Sono responsabili della governance di Women on Web.
